I hope you ended up with the Roo Hide. I have had serious issues with saddle fit on a variety of types of horses(I train, so I get all types), and the folks at Roo Hide are the most concerned about fit and comfort for the horse out of all the other makers I have come across. My first Roo was one I bought second hand, and the difference it made for the horse I bought it for was phenomenal. His movement really freed up and he finally felt like he was comfortable and not compensating for some ill fit. The Roos typically feature a lot of shoulder release, and emphasis on getting the right twist through the bars of the tree. Best saddles I've ever owned.
