Need Help with Picking an Arabian Saddle

Hey so I need to buy a saddle for my girl. My friend has an Arabian saddle I tried out and it fit her great so I'm thinking those are the bars I need (she is an Arab). If anyone can tell me what Arabian western saddle they like and why that would be awesome! I'm so lost lol there's just so many to choose from.

Are you speaking of Western Saddles?

The advertised Western Saddle with Arabian Bars only fit about 60% of Arabians, I have seen Semi-QH bars fir many and other styles also.

Do you have any pics of your Horse? One showing the wither area and a topline pic you can post?

What is the height in hands of your Horse?

I have a fqhb for my western saddle that fits my arab. She also has a special pad with shims because of her insanely high wither but it fits.

Very true, Arabs can be as hard to fit as any breed

Circle Y saddles with Arab bars have always fit my Arabians very well. They're very comfy to boot.

I have had success with Simco Arab saddles.

A friend of mine has a Circle Y Arab saddle for sale. I have heard good things about them, she used it on her old boy for years but sold him a while back and is finally ready to let go of her tack.

My two Arabs (one is actually 3/4 Arab) are both the 'high-wither, curving back' type of Arabian, and the Circle Y Mojave saddle fits them OK. Maybe a little long, but neither objects:

Yes, I'm talking about a western saddle. I don't have any recent pics of her but there are pics of her when she was two in my horses (she's turning four in a few months). I'm guessing she's around 14.3 but I'll try to remember to take pics and measure her tomorrow.

I think the saddle my friend and I tried on her was a circle y and that fit great.

MBFoley - What size is the seat and how much is she asking?

I've never bought my own saddle before. My first horse (the one I got before this one) came with four saddles that fit her so I never had to figure all this out till now.

Crates Arab tree. Using it on a foundation bred QH at the moment but it fit my Arabs well.
