need help w/ alterations

So I went and got a halter/bridle combo, nice splint boots for the front legs, cantle bag,and a breast collar, and a fleece girth(found out it was too big...saddle slid shortly after trotting..I lucky landed on my feet)...anyways...I need help with alterating my breast collar as I am back to using my dressage girth without a dee ring to attach this western breast collar...I would like to keep the strap thing to hold the breast collar in place...does anyone have any ideas so I can make it fit and be secure?...I don't know how to sew ..might be able to find someone to do it for me....I need a loop type thing like they do for english.

Do you mean the ring on the girth?
You could buy an attachment (my local greenhawk has them) or you could make one:
Find an old dog leash, nylon would be easiest. Find a sturdy metal ring, like the one off of an old halter.
Now, take the loop of the leash. See where it's sewn? Cut the leash about 3 inches down from that. Burn the edge with a lighter to prevent fraying. Discard the long part of the leash that's left (the clip will be attached to the part you don't need) Thread the ring on to the 'tail' of the loop. Fold this over so that the edge meets with the folded over edge of the loop. Sew in to place, or get someone else to sew it in to place. Lots of stitches. Voila!
Should resemble this: Google Image Result for http://www.longridersgear.com/catalog/images/Zilco-Girth-Loop.jpg
