Nothing takes the place of a good fitter but if no fitter is available or it's impractical : http://www.horseforum.com/horse-tack...dle-fit-45868/

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

My leather bighorn has held up great. Its a late 80's model and is in terrific shape and I bought it used. The synthetic looks great and really does take a beating but doesn't feel the same as when i bought it new...could be loosening up a bit. Its just an extra saddle for when the hubby wants to ride. You can usually find a decent leather bighorn for around 200 used and they do take the abuse.

I don't really like the Wintec saddles. Nothing against them -its just a personnel preference.
I really do like the Big Horn Endurance saddle. If yours Corinowalk has lasted this long then it would be fine for me.
I like the idea of getting a custom made saddle too. Then I'll get exactly what I want.
I'll have to contact Kevin & compare the cost of the Southerntrails to the Bighorn.
Still would like to know more about the treeless saddles.
I have some decisions to make. Thanks for all the input.

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.
