Nothing takes the place of a good fitter but if no fitter is available or it's impractical :

My leather bighorn has held up great. Its a late 80's model and is in terrific shape and I bought it used. The synthetic looks great and really does take a beating but doesn't feel the same as when I bought it new...could be loosening up a bit. Its just an extra saddle for when the hubby wants to ride. You can usually find a decent leather bighorn for around 200 used and they do take the abuse.

I don't really like the Wintec saddles. Nothing against them -its just a personnel preference.
I really do like the Big Horn Endurance saddle. If yours Corinowalk has lasted this long then it would be fine for me.
I like the idea of getting a custom made saddle too. Then I'll get exactly what I want.
I'll have to contact Kevin & compare the cost of the Southerntrails to the Bighorn.
Still would like to know more about the treeless saddles.
I have some decisions to make. Thanks for all the input.
