Green Broke
We have two Billy Cook saddles - they are both trail saddles and they are both comfortable. They were both around $1,100 new so they weren't cheap but they weren't super expensive either. They seem to be well made and hopefully we will have them a long time. Mine didn't fit my horse well, though and is being replaced. My husband's squeaks alot - he couldn't sneak up on anyone in that saddle!

Tip it upside down and dump baby powder into all the spaces then it will quit squeeking so bad.

Prices haven't gone up too bad, $700 for wade saddle, $50 for bucking rolls and $75 for tooling on the fenders and a $10 handling fee, worth it to me to get what I want, saddles not something you buy everyday

I didn't realize you had added the extras. One thing that I did with my bucking rolls to make them more secure is to take the lacing that holds them together across the saddle and lace it through the seat at the gullet. That will keep them from moving forward. If that is confusing just PM me your e-mail and I will see if I can take some pictures of mine.

Yeah, I like the saddle as is, but the bucking rolls seem to add character, and the fenders to me don't look complete w/o tooling, too bare. Read alot of very good reviews of them online, didn't really like not having any reviews of the eBay guy, Mr. Saddle.com, the price of less than $400 should have tipped me off, but I'm stil new...live and learn
