I'm going to advise you No on all of the above saddles except the Circle Y. The others are not as represented. The roper isn't a roper, just a look alike. For $250 I'm wondering if the Big Horn is a leather/cordura.

I would save for the Circle Y saddle. In my experience , save up for what you really want and get a good saddle. In the long run you will save money. You will end up with a saddle you will be happy with and hav for years and won't be wanting to "upgrade" in a couple years.

You mentioned you really liked the wade trees to. Circle Y makes one. I have one and absolutely love it. You can sit in it all day and have no soreness or discomfort. It is a slick, hard seat so that is something to take into account. I like the hard seat but not evryone does.

unfortunatly I can not affored a circle y for 5 to 6 years down the road. I can't have a job till I finish school and my parents keep holding me back because they don't have the time to teach me. >_<

Right now I have $220 I really can't buy any thing with that. If I can sell my english saddle that will be $450 to add to the pot.

Of course, I love my Corriente, but I think they are just a couple hundred out of your price range. They normally start at $650.

I can attest to the quality of Simco saddles though. I have a roping saddle from them that is very well made and has been durable. It's not very comfortable for me, but I'm like Cori and haven't found a roping saddle yet that is comfortable. I have never ridden in a Wade tree saddle but the good thing about ranch saddles is that they are shaped for all day comfort, even when they have a hard seat.

Other than that, I won't be much help because the only other saddles I have ever really ridden in are 35 year old Billy Cook roping saddles.
