    i put it on him in one of the little feeding yards so he didnt have anywhere to take off too lol then I walked him to the arena so he had a chance to get the feel of it before I asked him to work in it.

    If yours doesnt come with pictures I should be able to scan the pictures from mine and send them to you. For the first setting you can check in that thread I did if you need to :)

    Thanks Jazzy. I think i'll put it on her in her stall for a couple min so she can get a feel for it. And them walk her around a bit so she knows not to freak. I'm thinking she'll be good with it.

    from what I can tell there isnt a whole lot they should freak out at. The fleece that goes round the butt and sits on the back legs is the main thing but if you show it to her and rub it all down her back as you head for her tail area she should be good. I think if jarred didnt freak out you should be fine with vega

    That's good to know then! I did do some parelli with her and she was fine with the rope all over her. But i'll definitely do that to get her used to it. I have a feeling I'm going to be doing more stuff on the ground with her this spring/summer than in the saddle

    Thats not a bad thing :) I've been doing a lot with jarred and im enjoying it more than I thought it would. Its more enjoyable when you are getting somewhere and making progress all the time :)
