Hello everyone :)
I'd just like to know what you think of these bits.

Bit 1: Dutch Gag. What do you think of this bit? I have heard some people say it's a severe bit, but then i've heard some people it's just a bit for a bit more control. What do you think of this bit?

Bit 2: Racing Dee Snaffle. Don't know much about this bit, but i think it might be pretty commonly used. What do you think of this bit?

Bit 3: Kimblewick Bit. I have heard good things and bad things about this bit. What do you think of this bit?

Thanks!!
LSJ
P.S and remember, everyone has different thoughts on the bits, so please no arguing! :)
Happy Posting!! :D

The gag- Because of the optional leverage, it can just add more "oomph" to the severity. Doesn't necessarily mean it's severe though. It is in line, with the more stronger bits though.

The racing dee, I don't know much about. That particular one, it just a common single joint snaffle.. I think it has something to do with the shape of the dee's or something that make it a racing dee.

The kimberwicke, I personally try to stay away from. I don't like the design of them. You can't really evade constant poll pressure, and in the wrong hands, can just really upset a horse (as can any bit, really). If you're looking in something in the lines with a kimberwicke, I would go with a pelham instead, before I pulled out a kimberwicke to try.
