lol! I have to try very hard to not make browbands on a regular basis - I get color coordination ideas all the time and pattern ideas constantly........I want to make one, Hubby has to stop me so I don't waste my product on Boo.
Trust me, I want to make him one in Burnt Orange and in Baby Blue and Mint Green and I could go on and on and on. For this one, I had to take apart his baby blue, navy blue, mint green one to recycle the leather backing.
I sell my browbands, and the way I attach them took me a long time to come up with on my own. I use a heavy needle, needle nose plyers and lots of time.
Pink is my favorite color - my nickname is Pinky. I wear it so much. I used to make Boo wear pink too, but I grew out of that phase. Now, if I had a mare - most definately.
MIE, if I rode English, I'd have like 50 pink browbands of yours. I love them! As it is, I have so much unnecessary tack just because it's pink. Like a breast collar... I have never used one in my life and I bought one because it matched my headstall.
I have always wanted to start up some English to give my horses and myself a change of pace, but without a trainer around, I'd have no idea what I was doing. Maybe if I bought all your pink English tack, I'd change my mind, ha ha ha. :P
You know, I hear my browbands make horses smarter - *wink* it's a joke on another forum. lol.
Here are piccies of him in his new browband, I had to get pictures today while out at the barn. He is just soooo gorgeous! I cannot get over how beautiful my boy is! *Sigh* I'm in wuv
Aww! **Hugs** Thanks chickey! I am making one right now for a friend exactly the same as Nelson's but instead of red - she wants purple. OoooOooOoooohhh.
I love putting that browband on Boo! He looks so good in it. Was he happy to see it? I don't know - I've shown up with so many he's probobly sick and tired of them....because I have to take pictures with it on him.
LOL, I put the camera up, and his ears pin back. I have to entice him to put his ears forward..he hates his picture being taken. He sees no point in it at all. lol.
I love that saddle pad too! I cannot stop using it!
Daisy is bad about pictures too. She likes to follow me around - not the best angle for picture taking.
Joey and Greta think the camera is a horse-eating monster.
