The high horn and deep seat make it ideal for barrel racing. We couldn't afford specialized saddles so we gamed in anything that had two stirrups and a cinch.

Yep pretty much same here, my last saddle was a trail saddle and I couldn't manage to stay back in the seat, which is why I wanted a barrel saddle. I figured since I needed a new saddle anyways (old one didn't fit my horse) I might as well look for a barrel saddle, but I like the one I got Not that I'm a big gamer or anything, I just do it for fun

Yes nice saddle. Great deal for sure. I've gotten deals like that in past and have taken a beating on some other's. They seem to even out with time (deals) as we get wiser and gain more experience.
