    That's up to you and how you feel it works for your horse. I personally don't care for the tacky-too type pads, but that's just me. If it works, there is no reason to change.

    I don't ride endurance just trails and I like wool felt myself. If you are doing endurance, I would ask in the endurance section and see what they recommend.

    I didn't mean to sound negative. I just never had good luck telling truly how a saddle fit until I put a bunch of miles on it. But yes, I agree, it looks like a nice fit.

    Looks good to me! I think a thinner pad would help things out as far as the sliding goes.

    I do have this Skito dressage pad.... I could give it a try?

    What did the poor fitting saddle to to his back. We just sent a saddle back to the manufacterer because our horse ended up with small white hair spot near the back of where the saddel bars sit. Our saddle maker came out and said it was put together wrong and deemed it defective. They are supposed to "fix" it under the warrenty terms although I would have rather have had a new saddle.
    I agree this saddle looks very good on your horse!
