I got this new saddle..new to me.
Fleece needs repaired is the only thing.

I am paying $200...do you think it's worth that much? I gave her $150 today.

I would say it is, it's older and used but it looks like good quality.

It's better than spending $200 on a cheaply made new saddle.

Alright, thank you. I apperciate it.
I thought it was in good condition besides the fleece and such.
Do you think if I got felt instead of getting actual new fleece put on professionally would be fine to put on or maybe I can go to a fabric store and get fleece? I read that it's around $200 to get new fleece put on.

Heres a sight I use to buy synthetic sheeps wool. I think if you look around, you can find the glue on this site too. Its relativly easy to glue.
Synthetic Sheepwool by the foot - Sheepskins - Leather Hides & Skins - Zack White Leather Company

    Good luck!

    THANK YOU THANK YOU!

I was looking last night and only found fleece seat covers
I will be buying some of this..now I have no more stree about this saddle.
    So comfy.
My horse use to be a lesson horse at this stable I got this saddle from and the saddle was used on her. Seems to fit her very well and me as well. My butt doesn't hang!...well I don't have a big butt but I was kinda self concious about my butt hanging on the sides so I got a 16" seat :)

LOL me too! I don't shy away from saddles that need a bit of work. As long as the leather isnt totally shot and the tree isnt broken...I can figure it out!

It took me forever to find that website! Theres actually a good bit of stuff on there too.

To me...finding a saddle that fits you and the horse well is like hitting the lottery. Its usually my butt that suffers...

So I have a question....this saddle is a barrel saddle so I heard they are more snug. Anyways is it too small if I can fit my hand in front sideways? Or how do I know. I am self concious cause I do have bigger thighs which makes me look heavier.
