New Tack Set!

So I've had my eyes set on this tack set for a few weeks. There is a lady who comes to our shows and brings a tack trailer. I have been oggling this set and literally sighing over it ever since I saw it. I couldn't really fit it into my budget anywhere so I decided to just let it go.

I kept thinking about it every week and then finally this past weeked I was like "If it's there I'm going to get it!" Sure enough I get to the trailer and the set is still there. I decided to talk to her about payment. After a little bit of talking she gave me a very nice discount! I was so happy it's not even funny.

I couldn't really "afford" it but it's not like me or my horses were going to starve if I bought it. I just had to take out a bit of the "entertainment" portion of my paycheck so no movie nights with the girls this month =P It's ok cause I can just stare at my new tack set and be entertained.

This was one of those things that if I didn't buy it I was going to regret it.

Has anyone else ever bought a set they just "had to have" but had to make a bit of a paycheck modification to buy lol? Posts of the money burning tack sets are always welcome.

Nice set. Reminds me of tattoos and motorcycles and for some reason.

We require pics of it on the horse!

VEry pretty. Have you tried it on yet? Does the width of the brow band pose any problem, I mean poking the horse anywhere?

DancingArabian - haha I'll get it set up on Dice soon. I kinda want to wait till he starts competing to use it...you know to keep it nice. But a photoshoot sounds fun hmmm.....

Tiny- Yup I tried it on him. Headstall fits perfectly. His chest is just a smidge small for the breast collar but he's only three and I've noticed his chest has gotten wider since I got him a month ago. Also his parents are stocky-ish so he should grow into it.

Thanks guys. I am so in love with this set. I've seen it online but you can't haggle online =P
