Nylon Saddles?

Okay, this is the saddle I have. My previous saddle was the same one also. I love the way the saddle feels, and it's light, so it's easy to carry. But, I was wondering if anyone else here uses anything similar?

I use something like that, ABETTA Cordura Round Skirt Saddle with Cool-Grip Lined Skirt Trail and Pleasure Saddles Western HorseLoverZ.com

Mine is also really comfy, and has a deeper seat then it shows. It looks and feels like a very deep barrel saddle. And hold up very well, easy to clean, light weight ect. Ect.

American makes a decent bargain US made saddle. I have an Abetta that served me well for quite some time. Big Horn makes a good synthetic too.

I love my saddle. I prefer the light weight, and easy to clean.

When I ride my friends Thoroughbred gelding with her when we go on trail rides at her place, I ride in a nylon saddle just like the one pictured. I'm sorry to say that I can't stand it... it's comfortable and all, but I just don't like it. I much prefer the leather saddles with their heaviness and all... Just personal preference, I guess. My friend on the other hand really likes the nylon saddle since it's so much lighter and her horses are tall and it's kinda hard for her to throw the saddle up over their back.

I guess I just prefer the squeak and stiffness and the smell of the leather... Lol.
