older King saddle

I have been trying to find some info on one of my saddles.. It has the king brand on it. It has rawhide around the saddle horn and silver stitching around the seat. I believe it was a show saddle.. it is in excellent condition and I am trying to find out what it might be worth.. any ideas where I can find out some info.. thanks

Pictures would be a great help but just based on what you described, it doesn't sound like a show saddle. Many saddles sold in the 60's and 70's, especially, had silver lacing around the cantle. Rawhide on the horn and the silver, makes me think it was more of a pleasure saddle.

King saddles from Sheridan Wyoming, old maker very good saddles. Hope you have one of these, you can get more info at kingropes.com

Saddle King not the same at all, those I've seen have been of inferior quality.
