I have one..and I don't like it. Like the others stated, mine didn't have a throat latch and the one ear was on the off side for me and such a pain to use. I went out and bought a new headstall the other day. Has a browband and throat latch. I'm very happy with it.

I have several both show ones and everyday training ones. I have not had one slip or slip off. I like them much much better then the brow band and I think the horses do too. Shows off their heads much better keeps the pressure off their head that you seem to get with a brow band. You can find one eared H/S with a throat latch. I personally do not like them but they are out there.

the ones ive used have all had the throatlatch. a throatlatch is something i would recommend anyways
