Oh man, I was so angry when I received my first "new and improved" Stateline Tack catalog! "WTF Is this really Paris Tack and Derby Originals that I see??!?!?" I threw it right in the recycle bin. The only good thing about PetSmart selling Stateline was that I got a ton of cheap clearance at our stores before they closed!

I recently got a small catalog from Miller Harness! Apparently they're back! They used to distribute (I'd say) the best tack available. Crosby for example. The good Crosby. Made in England. But now it just looks like Collegiate and HDR. Maybe they'll pick back up at some point.

I wish I had the money to support my small, local tack shops. But I guess I buy most of my stuff on eBay, so that's supporting "real people like me!"

www.jeffersequine.com and I go to Dover in person (30 mins drive from me :) ). Used to buy at horse.com, but not extremely happy with the quality (prices are good though) so switch to jeffers instead. Horseloverz.com NEVER again (had a HORRIBLE experience with it)!

Sites

I haven't been a fan of Stateline tack. I've looked at sites from Parelli Natural Horsemanship and Clinton Anderson. I love the product, except they cost an arm and a leg. I can't afford to spend $70 on a halter and lead rope! I like Country Supple for the most part. I also like tack-wholesale.com and jeffersequine.com.
