Only $30!!!! O.o

I got a pretty nice Mattes half pad (black in color, size large) with areas for the gel inserts for $30!! I can't believe it. It fits both of my saddles perfectly. I am going to go tack Bear up for fun today and just see how it works for him. I just can't believe my luck! =]

I will post pictures soon, maybe today..?

PS: Bear is doing just lovely. He layed down for the very first time, at my place, on Saturday (the 19th) and last night be galloped up to me (he hadnt seen me in 4 days) whinnying, SO cute!!! =,]

Thanks guys! I just love it, I can't wait to show it off, hehe. Do you guys think that it would be okay to use it for little local hunter shows? Or should I just buy a white half pad for that?

Congrats! That's a fabulous deal! I'm a fan of mattes pads!

Depends on the level of your local shows. I showed in my black half pad once when I forgot my white one and I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb. I was the ONLY one not in a white shaped or half pad and on my lighter colored pony it was noticable. If your local shows are fairly casual it would probably be ok, but I'd recommend getting white.

Mattes pads are really nice. As far as showing in a black one, schooling shows would probably be just fine, and if your local shows are really low key....otherwise, I'd use a white one.

It was used. I found it on my local craigslist. =]

Check tacktrader if you need a cheaper half pad that is still nice quality. =]
