Question Opinions on Abetta Saddles?

How are they? Should I go with a gaited one for my STB since he takes a semi QH bar?

We have one abetta that is 17 YO and another one 14 YO, considering the low price, they hold up very well.

The Gaited Abetta Saddle uses a Wide Gaited Tree, so it will not fit, it is closer to a Full QH Tree.

The standard Abetta use a Semi-QH Tree, the wide version use a Full QH Tree.

Abetta does not yet have a Medium Gaited Tree yet, which is closest to the Semi-Qh Tree, BigHorn makes a Medium Gaited Tree, they are quite a bit more than they standard Abetta's, but a whole lot nicer

I quite like abettas. Very comfortable to ride in. I was very disappointed when I had to sell my brand new one because it didn't fit my TB.

While I'm not big fan of Abetta (it places my legs in wrong position) I'd pick it any day over the Wintec. They are decent saddles for the price.

BTW, did you try any Abetta before you decide to go with one? I'd really suggest that.

I suggested that because this question was brought up on my local forum before and per responses some people love Abettas, some equally dislike the brand because it puts them in wrong position. So you really want to try before spending your money.
