Opinions on this bit please!

So I just bought this bit hoping I would have found the Francois Gauthier futurity bit that everyone on here likes. Unfortunately, someone else must have had the same idea because it wasn't there when I went. :( However, I did find another Francois Gauthier bit with a similar mouthpiece, but different shanks. Would it be similar even though the shanks and purchases are different in length?

(Sorry for the image size)
Bit I wanted to buy:

Bit I ended up buying:

It wouldn't be different if the proportion between purchase and shank is the same. Personally I like the second one better anyhow :)
However there is a chance of the second bit pinching.

Thank you! I check to see where it might pinch! I think they have the same ratio as the one I got has a longer purchase. I think it's 1:2, but I didn't actually measure it.

Haha, purely cosmetic
But those style of cheeks are handy for a horse that lips the bit.

Haha, I agree. My horse isn't mouthy, but you never know if I might have to use it on one that is!
