opinions on Courbette spring tree/E-MOTION

I'm looking at saddles more or less for fun until I hear from the folks at Trumbull about my tracing. (Mailman just picked it up!)

Someone on another horse forum has a Courbette saddle for sale that she used it once for a very brief ride and decided it was the wrong seat size for her. After seeing the Courbette that my best friend at the barn has, I'm intrigued. (I have yet to sit in my friend's saddle though, so I don't know if it will feel as lovely to me as it looks!)

The Axxis model this other person is selling has Courbette's spring tree/E-MOTION concept:
Courbette Saddlery Company, Inc. Saddle Trees

Now, I've read some of the discussions on these forums about Wintecs and that company's adjustable gullet system. My impression is that many of you think the changeable gullet system is a gimmick (and I would agree at least to a certain extent), and I'm wondering if this spring tree/E-MOTION concept is a gimmick as well.

I've sent an email to the rep at Trumbull who has been helping me, but what do YOU guys think?
