Opinions please :)

Okay, so I've decided a new saddle would really be beneficial for me and my horse at the moment.

So, I have a pretty small budget. What I've seen within it is the Val du Bois saddle package from Greenhawk. Does anyone have any experience with this saddle?

Also, I don't want to sound rude, but I'm aware everyone always says don't change bits, change training. But there's a long back story here and now my mare really isn't listening to her single jointed D ring copper roller snaffle, any ideas of what I could use now? Thanks so much ! :)

Never heard of that saddle. Is this a hunt saddle?
As for the bit, well, I can recommend my old stand by; the KK ultra frenchlink (actually, it's got a bead like thing in the middle, not a lozenge), but any frenchlink type bit, and I prefer loose ring, but again, it differes so much from person/horse to person/horse.

The copper roller snaffles I've seen have all had extremely straight mouthpieces - check your bit out; is it super straight?
I would honestly suggest trying something that is "bent" more or a french link.

The bit is completely straight on both pieces. My horse also seems to hate french link. Its like she really needs something copper and something to play with. Picky mare :P
