I recently bought an Ortho-Flex saddle for my shark-finned Saddlebred and it fits! I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I got a good deal or not. I paid $400 for the Saddle, Leather Girth, Synthetic girth, Leathers, Stirrups, and saddlepad. If anyone could also tell me which type of Ortho-flex it is that would be awesome :D Thanks!

It certainly looks like a very nice saddle.

I had a western Ortho Flex and learned about an issue with the underside of the panels at the 4 points (places) where the swiveling mechanism is. Make sure the mechanism is not protruding through.

Also carefully look at the action to ensure it swivels equally well all over. That would me as opposed to one or more not moving as freely as the others.

it looks good, and I think you got a good deal!

however, I have only one experience riding in one, and it was bad. the darn thing moved and squeeked and made it impossible to find a stable point around which to build my "seat". I hope your's works better for you.
