Oster 7 Piece Grooming kit?

I got the Oster 7 Piece grooming kit for Christmas, and I like it except for a few things. I was wondering if anyone on here who has it had the same problems:
The soft brush bristles keep falling out. It I brush my jacket, many fall out, and I can pull like 4 out a once. Should I get the other soft brush (the one with the black bristles)?
How did your horses like the curry? Did it get the dirt off well?

Thanks!

I've collected various of the Oster pieces over time (and received some with my horses when I bought them).

I've not had the issues with the soft brush bristles falling out. And I have both the fine curry and the bigger one. Not really a fan of either though the finer one works better in my opinion.

I had an old black rubber curry that I had for ages from horses I owned a long time ago. I loved it loved it loved it! But the strap finally broke on it so I had to pitch it. Every so often I look for another one but have not managed to find the exact one to replace it.

I would return the defective brush from whence it came. I have a set of Oster brushes that live in my trunk and have for about 6 years - all bristles intact.

My diva of a TB likes the finer curry best, although I have to work harder with it.

Yes, I emailed Oster and they said if I sent them the brush they would replace it.

I'm thinking of getting either the fine curry or just picking up a regular curry from Ranch Outlet.
