Over the Whither Strap?

I hope this is in the right forum lol.

I need an over the whither strap for my breast collar when barrel racing. I have read you can make these out of neck straps or other things.

Does anyone know what I can make these out of, how to, or give me a link on instructions? :) thanks!

Maybe a cross tie or tiedown? I'm sure wither straps aren't too expensive anyways. Goodluck

Yearling
I have seen someone take the throat latch off their bridle and make one (loop under both loops on either side of the breast collar then latch) and I have also seen a girl used a stirrup leather (english)

Tiedown staps work, I've heard. You can make them shorter, punch holes in them, do whatever to make them work... they aren't expensive at all.
