Paddock Boots

I am looking for some new paddock boots because my old ones are too small for me. I took the pad on the inside of the boots on the bottom out and it makes them fit a little better, but I can't really wear them for a long time.

I ordered some Devon Aire North Park Lace Paddocks in 8.5 because the website said to get a size up because they ran small, but it was too big and wide for me. The heel was about 1/2 high, is that too short? They were a pretty good boot but it was a really big stretch trying to get my half chaps over them. So hard to zip them at the bottom near my boot. I was afraid they'd tear or something. I couldn't zip them all the way down.

What are some good but on the cheaper side paddock boots? They don't have to be lace up; I think I'm going to get zipper next time I order. I think there is a place in town that sells English apparel, so I may go there. That is the place I got my old paddock boots, which are Somerset Equileather boots. They were good boots, and lasted long :)

Thank you! I am trying to keep the price under $50; I still have a ton of growing to do and I don't want to have to spend $100 just to need new boots in a few months :)
