paddock flooring

I am new to this forum but have a question. I have a 10 month old Paso Fino colt. His name is Mateo (pics on my profile ). We have a little one horse stall with a paddock area right off of it. it is on a bit of a slope and man does it get muddy! My question is what does everyone use for their paddocks to keep the mud down and for easy mucking???

p.s. there is a pic also on my profile that shows where the paddock is located. in the pic, however, the barn had not been built yet. (its the pic with the wood fence)

Thanks for the feedback!!!!!!
