Passier vs County vs Black Country dressage saddle
I'm thinking about getting a saddle may be (given I get some tax return back ), and I wonder the opinion on one vs another. The problem with BC is that I have to order it (as I'm not a fan of the local representative).
Fan or not, you do need to be able to sit in each. Some brands work better for some people, but not all which is why there is variety.
I did sit in BC when I was visiting Trumbull Mnt. In principle I can order from them. My problem is if I call BC representative out I have to pay her (and she's NOT cheap), as well as County representative (a different person and also pay). While with Passier I can get it from Dover and just use the saddle fitter I always use. So I'm just not feeling like paying 3 different saddle fitters just to try saddle. Way too much money (call me greedy if you wish :) ).
I have a County Dressage Saddle and I love it, it places me in the correct position, has a lovely deep seat, and it lasts for years (mine has some age to it). I have seen and sat in the new County's and they are still as comfortable as the older ones. I will definitely but another County, when the need arises.
Good Luck!! With your search, it is not that easy to find the right saddle for you and your horse..

Thanks, Angelina! I never tried County, but I've heard those are nice saddles. So... :)
