People with Arabians: What saddle do you use and like?

This is mainly for people who ride english but I'm considering western too.

I'd like to get Lacey a new saddle of her own sometime soon. Right now the saddle I use is not mine and it doesn't fit her perfectly (mild wither pinching) so I'm looking. She has a pretty typical Arabian build. Wide back, marginally longer, smallish withers, etc.

What type of saddle do you use on your Arab? Do you love it? How much was it?

I'm looking into getting one of those saddles with gullet change thingy so I can ride it on various horses but I'm not set on anything yet.

I don't have scads of money to spend but I am willing to spend as much as it takes, it just might take longer. Haha

I have a Kieffer Action dressage saddle that i imported from Germany, paid US $1500 for it (used)

Many reasons why i chose this saddle...first being that the tree was adjustable by a saddle maker if it didnt fit my horse right....which I didnt have to worry about, it fits my arabian great.

It has BIG thigh blocks and a very deep seat, which gives me a more secure feeling...as I kinda lost my mojo when i had my riding accident about 3 yrs ago...broke my ankle in at least 6 places (broke both tibia and fibia, even broke the ball off my tibia)...got 2 plates and around 19 pins in there now...dr's said it was one of the worst breaks they'd seen....and i was lucky to be walking.

anyways....love this saddle...worth every penny

My girl is a pain to fit, and will loudly voice her complaints if you put an ill fitting saddle on her (kind of a good thing).

I fell in love with Collegiates. The first Collegiate I ever tried on her was of a jumping make (it was an older one, apologies but I don't remember the name), and she rode like a dream in it. Fit her like a glove. So when I went on the hunt for a Dressage saddle, I replied to an ad for a used Collegiate Dressage. Again, I wasn't disappointed. I don't even ride Dressage anymore, but it's such a comfortable saddle and fits her so well, I use it for trail riding!

As for Western, my grandpa had a custom Arabian saddle made decades ago for when he rode in parades, so I use that now. I'll post some pics just so you can see the type of Arab she is, she's a bit "sportier" and hefty then most.
