Pictures of Western Saddle Flared Bars

If anyone has ever had questions when someone says your saddle bars need more "flare"... I took some pics of a "flared" tree this weekend... These pics show excellent saddle fit. The first pic shows plenty of flare under the bar of the saddle. You can see how my hand will fit nicely between the saddle and the horse - no pinching or restricting of shoulder movement. The second pic shows where the saddle should sit, just behind the shoulder, and nice and level. Two things wrong with this picture, the breast collar is too lose, and I need a rounded saddle pad so it does not rub his hips.
