pink ribbon pad?

HAHAHAHA!!! You sound like me!!! Last time I went to a horse expo I almost came home with a $700 circle Y saddle... It would have been the BOMB!!! I refrained myself and am kicking myself to this day! :roll:

I took my 14yo daughter with me last time and we got to see John Lyons in action and it was great, we bought 2 new bridles, a couple bits, corn dogs and funnel cakes, also came home with a horsey tote bag and a couple new hay nets and a grooming kit.... I didn't need any of it and spent about $200...

I'm so excited, our horse expo is coming in March!!!!

I just can't wait to see my daughter's reaction to all of the excitement. She absolutely LOVES horses, and the look on her face is going to be priceless! She'll be 6 in July, so you can imagine this is going to be a huge deal for her. I'm just happy that I finally have a horse(kinda) that I can waste money on! I'll try to remember to take my camera so I can take pictures of the things at the expo! Woo hoo!

Sounds great!!! My son will be 6 in september so I have a pretty good idea of the reaction you'll get. My son was 4 last year, guess I didn't mention that he tagged along too... I ended up using the hood on his jacket to "rein" him through the people, he was trotting and thought the whole thing was a blast!!!

Haha! I can picture that. My son will be 4 in May, so I'm right there with ya!

I don't have anything BC related for the horses, but my 13 year old son wore a pink button down shirt when he showed his steer in the fair. He also wore a BC ribbon on his collar & was very vocal to anyone who tried to tease him about a boy wearing a pink shirt: "I wear it to honor my grandmother who is a 16 year survivor and any other women going through the battle. I'm tough enough to wear the pink!" It made me so proud!

Awww Dreamer! That's so awesome! Tell your son that he rocks!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go survivors! Woohoo!!!! 15 hours til horse expo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
