Plain English Browbands

I want a very simple, plain leather browband seperate from the bridle. I want to make my horse a ribbon browband, but I don't want it to be the only browband I have. I know that there are a few people on here that make beaded browbands and I'm just wondering where to get a simple, plain browband. All I can find are clincher and padded ones with overlay.
Thanks (:

Almost any shop can order you a plain "flat" browband. They're usually labeled as "hunt" browbands. Those are the best to make ribbon browbands out of.

You can also order a biothane browband that will last longer from Moss Rock Endurance. She makes all sorts of biothane tack. It's very nice quality and the "beta" biothane looks like leather. They're not on her web site, so email her for a quote.

Thanks luvs2ride, I'll check it out! I'm looking online because there's no tack shop near me, so I'll search for hunt browbands.

kitten_Val, I need a dark brown one, havana possibly? I have a suffolk plain snaffle bridle and it says the color is "brown" haha. But it's havana-ish.

I bought most of mine from the local tackshop. Next time your in, ask in the local tackshop, they might be able to order you in some if they have none :)
