1. When would you buy a Bridle?

A) Because you really need one. ( Have to)
B) For a show or event
C) Because you want to:)
I kid you not... I am a bridle and halter fiend. I will buy a pretty bridle just because it's pretty. I am currently looking at getting a brown bridle with white padding, just 'cause.

2. Roughly how often would you say you buy tack for your horse or horses?
On a very regular basis. I usually buy small items a couple times a month (treats, brush, etc) and bigger-ticket items (bridle, blanket, etc) 3 or 4 times a year.

A) At least something new once a month to add to your horses wardrobe
B) Every 6 Months
C) Every 12 months
D) Hardly ever
E) Whenever the mood takes your fancy and could be all of above

3. Do you prefer to buy items?
A) off the peg
B) Only well known named items
C) Hand Crafted Bespoke Items
D) Don't Care
E) All of the above
I usually like to see/feel an item before I buy it, but I can't pass up a good sale...

4. Would you pay more money for an item that is
A) Hand crafted, Hand stitched & Bespoke
B) Done by a Machine
C) Do not care if hand stitched or machine stitched go buy the finished look
D) Would not pay more for a hand crafted item as feel their is not much difference
Unfortunately I'm at a point in my life where dollars matter... so if I find an item that's machine made, but is decent quality, I will likely put my dollars there rather than a more expensive hand crafted model... having said that, I hope that one day soon I will put more emphasis on hand-crafted, quality items.

5. What material do you buy for your bridles/ halters etc
A) English Leather
B) Buffalo Leather

C) Webbing
D) Synthetic
E) Other ( Please State)
D) Do not really care
I prefer leather. I have a few nylon web halters, but will not ride in a synthetic headstall.

6. Roughly how much would you be prepared to pay for a bridle.
A)40-60 If I'm looking for a schooling bridle.
B)60-90
C)90-120 If I'm looking for a nice show piece.
D) 120-150
E) 150-200
F) 200- 500
G) 500 +

7 What would you say was a reasonable price for a handmade English Leather Browband with Brass or silver metal work
A) 5.00 - 10.00
B) 10.00 - 15.00
C) 15.00 - 20.00
D 20.00 - 25.00
E) 25.00-30.00
F) 40-50
G) Do not care! If you like it, the price does not matter
H) Other - it depends on what is in it. I won't pay more than $20 CAD for a simple gold clincher browband, but shelled out $80CAD for a Swarovski crystal one.

Do you prefer to buy
A) Uk items
B) Over seas or fom your home town
C) Do not care
Prefer to shop within my own country, if not city... shipping is expensive.

9) Were abouts in the world do you live?
Canada

10) Were do you buy your equestrion items from mostly?[/b]
A) Local Tack shop
B) Catalogue
C) Ebay
D) Internet shops and sites
E) Word of mouth only
E) All of the above
F) Do not mind

I hope this helps!

1. When would you buy a Bridle?

A) Because you really need one. ( Have to)
B) For a show or event
C) Because you want to:)

C. Hi, my name is Melanie and I have a bridle obsession. If it's pretty and I have some extra money, it's mine!

2. Roughly how often would you say you buy tack for your horse or horses?

A) At least something new once a month to add to your horses wardrobe
B) Every 6 Months
C) Every 12 months
D) Hardly ever
E) Whenever the mood takes your fancy and could be all of above

A. Most likely once a month, maybe once every other month. Depends on how much I worked and how much money I have left after feed bills, car payment, etc.

3. Do you prefer to buy items?

A) off the peg
B) Only well known named items
C) Hand Crafted Bespoke Items
D) Don't Care
E) All of the above
E. I'm not picky about where my tack comes from, so long as it's quality :)

4. Would you pay more money for an item that is

A) Hand crafted, Hand stitched & Bespoke
B) Done by a Machine
C) Do not care if hand stitched or machine stitched go buy the finished look
D) Would not pay more for a hand crafted item as feel their is not much difference

C. Again, quality!

5. What material do you buy for your bridles/ halters etc

A) English Leather
B) Buffalo Leather
C) Webbing
D) Synthetic
E) Other ( Please State)
D) Do not really care

A. For bridles and halters
D. For halters

6. Roughly how much would you be prepared to pay for a bridle.

A)40-60
B)60-90
C)90-120
D) 120-150
E) 150-200
F) 200- 500
G) 500 +

A-C. Depending on what kind of bridle (I'd expect to pay more for one with padding or for a figure 8, than for a plain cavesson). Also depending on the purpose it will be used for (if it's for a green horse I'd get something inexpensive so it won't matter as much if it breaks or is chewed on).

7 What would you say was a reasonable price for a handmade English Leather Browband with Brass or silver metal work

A) 5.00 - 10.00
B) 10.00 - 15.00
C) 15.00 - 20.00
D 20.00 - 25.00
E) 25.00-30.00
F) 40-50
G) Do not care! If you like it, the price does not matter

G. I've been known to drop some dollars if it's pretty ;)

Do you preffer to buy

A) Uk items
B) Over seas or fom your home town
C) Do not care

C. Don't care unless shipping is REALLY expensive, then I'll look for a closer alternative.

9) Were abouts in the world do you live?

US

10) Were do you buy your equestrion items from mostly?[/b]
A) Local Tack shop
B) Catalogue
C) Ebay
D) Internet shops and sites
E) Word of mouth only
E) All of the above
F) Do not mind

Actually, a lot of my tack is from ebay. But they're pieces I had seen in a tack shop, so I knew the kind of leather/stitching/etc were nice. I also have Dover Saddlery about 5 miles from my house :)

C) Because you want to:)

I have 2 pairs for each horse - one english, one western. Because bit size is different I can't use the same (without switching the bits, which is a pain).

2. Roughly how often would you say you buy tack for your horse or horses?

E) All of the above

As long as the item is good (and price is right ) I don't really care about the make.

I don't like synthetic, but I love nice smooth leather.

Hard to think in euro.... :)

E) 25.00-30.00

F) 40-50
G) Do not care! If you like it, the price does not matter

It really depends on type of work and stones, so I'd give a bigger price range.

Do you preffer to buy

A) Uk items
B) Over seas or fom your home town
C) Do not care

Depends on what you buy. Most horse boots I have made in China. I'm fine with that. As for bridles and saddles I prefer European and US-made. Don't like indian and vietnamese stuff at all.
