Question Please help! What kind of boots?

Hello, I'm wondering what kind of boots I should use on my horse. I have been doing some reseach and think I might go with the Professional Choice SMB. But, Does anyone know what the difference between the SMB's and the SMB II? Anyway, I would like some boots that will support, and help my horses legs, not get in the way with anything I do. I mainly do barrel racing and go on trail rides. I also do horse racing with my friend( no, not like the professional kind just to see whose faster. We do go pretty fast though) I might be doing drill team and I do jumping. (again, not major, just thought I would teach my horse something new!) I would also like to know if you think I should use boots on the back legs for any of these. If so, what kind? Please and Thank-you for any comments! I very much appreciate them all!
