How do I measure stirrup leathers? Is it from the buckle to the first hole or the very end of the leather? I need to know ASAP

Also, is there a way to measure my size for stirrup leathers without riding in them? I am not at the barn to do so and am wondering how so I am able to order a pair on eBay. The auction ends SOON!

Your title had me scared, with such an urgent feel to it. We do get some things on the forum that really ARE emergencies that need answers ASAP, but I am not sure this is one of them.

In any case I do believe that stirrup leathes are measured by their entire length.

Correct me if I am wrong, anyone?
