Please recommend saddle pad/saddle for this horse (high withers)

For those that have horses with high withers, please recommend what you use. Ideally, I would love to have a saddle custom made, but that's probably not going to happen in the near future. However, I want to make him as comfortable as possible within my means. Could somebody please recommend what pad/saddle combo works best with their similar horse?

Links and/or specific brand and model names would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help in advance.

Here is a picture of my boy and what I'm dealing with. Yes, I know he could stand to gain some weight and muscle. I am working on that. I just got him 4 days ago.

They are synthetic, so not very high dollar. Dover sells them, or you might find one used for cheaper.

I second the Thorogood. If you don't like synthetic, they also make a 1/2 leather/faux leather version called the T8. It looks like all leather, but only the seat and flaps are real. Can't tell the difference.

What kinda riding ?. Most of the saddles marketed as "Gaited" saddles have pretty high wither clearance.
