Possibly buying this used saddle...whatcha think??

Big Horn western saddle

I've been looking for a used roughout saddle, but this came across craigslist yesterday and I really like it. I've had a bighorn before and they are really comfortable, and seem to be good quality. What's everyone else think of bighorn? Is it just me or does it seem like everything except for the cantle and pommel might be roughout? Anyways, I guess just let me know what you think of it...

Bighorns are super comfy. I love the bear trap on that saddle too and it looks like it's in pretty good shape. The fenders look like they might be roughout, but it's hard to tell. I think it'll match your girl very nicely. Nice saddle!

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail...

Looks like a good saddle. I have an old 1960's Big Horn pony saddle that I use for birthday parties. It's definitely nicer quality than any of the new pony saddles I have looked at.

I think the color will look nice on your horse, especially after a few coats of neatsfoot oil to darken it a bit.

Looking at the front photo of the saddle, it looks like it's pretty wide Full QH bar saddle.
