Professional's Choice Air ride pads?

Do they actually ease pressure like they say they do? Are they worth the price?
I'm specifically looking for a good barrel pad.

I would stay clear of them....was at a demo that had many different pads. They stuck your hand under the pad against a saddle rack while they shifted the tree around. I buckled to the ground it hurt SO bad. I felt EVERYTHING and it was a sharp pain and they were barely putting 20lbs of pressure...I couldn't only imagine how that felt with a rider.

I prefer Impact Gels, EquiPedics, Classic Equine ESP or 5 Star pads....the Air Rides are a joke, and I know a lot of people who have had sore horses they switched to a different pad and the sore issue went away.

I would say the ESP (classic equine) , 5 star, best ever pad etc. Im not a fan of impact gel because like stated above I did a demo with them and they feel great for about 5 seconds then they loose there shape when pressure is added. Then they only regain the shape once the pressure is completely removed
