That is just terrible! Apparently they call it that because the horse is "psycho," I believe its the other way around.

Wooden "shoes," heavy chains, severe bits...I don't understand why they do it.

Man, I ride show Walkers, and the biggest shoe is a Plantation{that I've seen, not ridden-- the mare I ride is barefooted} and the biggest bit is a Wonderbit. :\
