Oh I LOVE St Croix saddlery. That place is simply amazing. It's in Hugo which is about 30 minutes from Stillwater. They do have higher prices on somethings though but the consignment is all set by the seller. And if you sign up for their email offers you get 20% off one item a month!!! So I buy one item a month lol, well sometimes more but I try not to need more.

Oh I want that last one. Looks like just what I need. I have a dressage saddle and an Aussie but I need something for trot exercises and the dressage doesn't allow me to keep a two point to stay off her back.

I bought the Crosby. Couldn't pass it up. I've never heard of St. Croix Saddlery. Address?

www.stcroixsaddlery.com

Their website isn't updated very often so don't use it for shopping. I just look to see if there are any sales going on. The store has way more inventory and different inventory than the website.

There is also Schatzlein Saddle in Minneapolis, they usually have a fair amount of used english saddles and are super helpful.

The love for a horse is just as complicated as the love for another human being...If you never love a horse, you will never understand.

Ha I'm not allowed to go there anymore by myself. It's on Lake street which is a very bad part of Minneapolis. They had a decent collection but their saddles were way over priced.

It's not so bad during the day. It is night you have to worry about, but it is not as bad as it used to be. I live 1-2 miles from there in the heart of the ghetto and work in a worse part on the north side so I might just be used to it too.
