Question Rain sheet

Anyone know where I can get a good quality but also good DEAL on a rain sheet? There seem to be a LOT of options, but here's the kicker and what's making finding the right one difficult...I want a fun pattern (like flowers, or plaid, or stripes or something) in PURPLE I just got my horse a purple plaid winter turnout blanket and thought I'd be able to find deals on a spring/summer rain sheet if I start looking now while it's still winter...but other than PONY-size sheets, it's hard to find a horse-sized sheet that comes in a fun pattern in puple (Sandie wears a size 76" or 78").

I have two Weatherbeeta Landa Freestyle sheets for my filly. They had a cool blue/tan plaid that I liked and they were under a $100 each, plus they fit her well and offer good protection. I looked through some catalogs (I swear I get a new one EVERY day) there's a cool looking Pessoa Alpine turnout sheet that's gray shot thru with magenta and white stripes (kind of a plaid I guess) It's $119 in my Dover catalog http://www.doversaddlery.com/pessoa-...1-24709/cn/65/

That's pony stuff but it fits my 14.2 she wears 6 foot rugs - so quite long for a pony, she has ALL the flowery stuff! You could possibly email enquire about a larger size.

I would deffinatly go for weatherbeeta, they are really good rugs and seem to fit all horses really well.

I've seen their turnout sheets before and LOVE them!!! But is the sizing the same in the US as in the UK? It seems like they only have up to size 72 at the largest available, unless the sizing charts are different. My horse (who's 14.1) wears a 76" turnout sheet normally, when I buy them from US sites...is there a size conversion?

A 6 foot rug is the same as a 72" one I think since 12 inches to a foot
I think you would need a 6'3 turnout :)
Do you want an exercise sheet or a turnout rug?

Turnout rain sheet/rug/whatever you wanna call it Just something thin and waterproof to use on wet days in the spring/summer.

In the dropdown box on the online order form they just have them listed like this (no other choices):

57"
60"
63"

If those are the only sizes available and there is no conversion, then they have some pretty small pony sizes and that's it...that's why I was asking about conversions for UK & US and whether they're different. For another website (in the US), here's an example of the sizes listed:

69"
72"
75"
78"
81"
84"

Maybe Bijou only carries smaller sizes?

I buy regular sheets I like, and waterproof them using something like the spray for waterproofing tents.

Ebay has LOTS of sheets in plaid patterns.

Bijou has up to 7 foot rugs I thought, Bijou Pony Wear - Pony Clothing - Rider Wear - Pony Accessories
And I believe that its equivilent to 84" because I looked on my weatherbeeta rug and it has 5'9 as 69" :)
