Yeah, we can get alfalfa cubes, used to mush them for our geriatric mare. But wouldn't do that for this appy because she's already a little chubby, and gets bad diarrhea on rich food.

I'm afraid a rug wont breath enough, and at the prices i've seen I can't really afford to experiment. :-\

It does seem an awful price to pay for something that usually gets all torn up. Why is it horse stuff is so expensive? Keeping her in the barn seems the simple solution.
