    Much like the saddle convo a month or so ago, I would suggest trying a few on before you buy...these boots have a different fit to them and its hard to tell if you are going to find them comfortable until you've tried em:)

    That being said, I would try to go with real leather over the fake stuff...boots in the summer can be really warm and the non-leather doesn't seem to handle the sweat as well or be as cool. Also, leather will break better and conform to your leg as you wear them in.

    I totally agree with Sara. Boots are definitely something that need to fit well, and most brands fit differently. If you can I'd try on as many different kinds as you can until you find something that fits your leg well. I also am not a fan of synthetic tall boots. That don't breathe well, they don't break in well, and they don't grip like leather boots.
