Red ribbon on tail

Sorry for silly question, but... Does anyone attached red on tail for kicking horse? If so what exactly do you use? I tried to use X-mas red bow and it falls off all the time...

I use any type of red ribbon or thick red yarn tied to a rubber band or hair tie. Then attach that to the tail just like you would any "pony" tail.

I just buy hair ties at Walmart. Some of those christmas ribbons have pipecleaner type wire on the back. Those work good and will secure nicely to the ponytail holder or hair tie.

When I did it I just bought a roll of red ribbon and cut it to lenth. Then I braided the tail if it was for hunt and put the ribbon on the bottom in the hair tye. If you are doing it western I'd put a hair tye in the tail and put the ribbon in.......

Be careful putting the ribbion in with a pony tail otherwise it will stuick out. We have a buisness were we bring ponies to party's and we put ribbion in it works well if you use a small hairtye and get the hair close to the tail bone so it will not show.
