Riding with a fly sheet?

My daughters horse is absolutely frantic with bombers ( those huge horse flies..) bolts, kicks, bucks and is not a horse you want to be sitting on when that happens. This year has been really bad, and fly sprays seem to do nothing to deter them. So we are getting a fly sheet for him. But are there any fly sheets you can use when riding? Him getting riled up in the pasture is HIS problem, but getting frantic on the trail is a whole different issue.

I see Cashel has one that attaches to the saddle and a front section that attaches to the bridle.. has anyone used this? The pictures on horse.com show it with an english saddle.. anyone know if it would work with Western saddle and bridle as well?

I don't see why it wouldn't work with a western saddle. They both have lots of places to attach things to! Good luck!
