I use little 1/4 inch nubby spurs on Uma which really helps her straighten out and go forward. Wow we got off topic. Lol

I'll be pleased if he will hold a nice canter with a nice headset for a 20M circle for me! Without spurs and a crop. I tried spurs, but I don't think they work well for me at this point in time, I'm scared I will hurt him.

You will if you have uneducated legs. And the only way he is going to hold a "nice headset" is if you are riding him educatedly from back to front, not holding his face. If he keeps throwing his head up on this 20 meter circle, it is because you are riding him incorrectly.

A good rider knows that headset comes last.

^I knew all that. And I do have nice strong steady legs. Thanks for critiquing my riding even though you havn't seen it.

I think that is what I used with Geoffry. They were just my mom's old Dressage ones.

Trust me, I've seen it. :)

And no where was ther a critique, just a discussion.

    Back to the vest -

I really see any difference between this vest and the Intec Flex Rider. They are both certified and approved and both meet beta level 3 - eventerdrew, do you see a difference? What makes this vest "popular"?

For me, it isn't about what is in fad in the riding circuit, it is about what I can afford and what will do its' job. Both vests do the same job - so what makes this vest "superior" in many riders eyes?
