    Snoggle,

I looked at the pic of Maya, hard to say. I would think she will grow till 5 or 6, but you never know how much they will change.

Horsesaddleshop.com has some templates on their website you can print off and check, Try the Wide Size first. I fit is a little wide, try the Medium/Narrow one, the wide represents a 7" Gullet and the Medium/Narrow a 6.5"

    .

If she does well in a western but you don't want a horn then you might go for a western style endurance saddle by abetta...ive looked at them some before...they arent expensive and I know a lady who rides her super chubby walker in one. So if your horse suddenly pouches out and is chubby it should work lol since you arent sure if your horse is done growing....also it will fit a normal not fat horse lol just using my friends chubby one as an example.

I'll check out Horsesaddleshop.com. That sounds really helpful.

I guess I should have clarified on which horse - Maya is actually a friend's horse. The horse I'm talking about that needs a saddle is actually my mare, Honey - the newest pics of her in "my barn" are about 6 months old - I'll have to update things a bit.
