Saddle advice for a Peruvian horse

I need advice to fit a saddle for my Peruvian horse. Since they have shorter backs many western saddles impairs the shoulder which inhibits the gate. My budget is small. I haven't had any luck locally with advice since I live in quarter horse land. Please help.

Any saddle that fits his back will do. His back is probably a bit shorter and narrower than most QH types. He will probably have a more oval barrel rather than round so he needs good spine clearance. As long as it fits well, it doesn't have to be any special type. I ride them in English, Australian, Western and several endurance style saddles.
