Which Saddle is best for me, AP or Dressage

I have found 2 saddles that are AWESOME deals. Wintec 500 AP and Wintec 500 Dressage.

I currently ride mainly dressage and some trails. I am working on my fitness and weight and when I get to around 135 or so I would like to start working on some H/J 1 to 2 max...

Should I get the AP or The Dressage?

Have you ridden in either saddle to get a feel for what they ride like? Have you considered looking for a used saddle that's a better brand?
Sorry, I dislike wintecs for the most part, and will be the first to say what a difference the right saddle can make. I finally splurged on a very nice saddle and WOW I feel so much more solid in my tack. Especially in your situation, you do not want to be working against your tack.
I strongly encourage you to ride in a few saddles to see what a difference saddles can make :)

My saddle search has been ongoing for a while. The deal was too good to pass up and I bit the bullet and went for the Dressage. If I don't like it, Wintecs sell like HOTCAKES around here so I can probably get most of my $$ back.

I've tried many saddles in the past, the ones I really like, except for the Isabell, I can't afford. I've recently checked out several used nice ones and they either didn't fit Cinny or they didn't fit me. For some reason it is hard to find a Dressage saddle with a Wide tree/gullet in my area.

I am currently saddless unless I want to continue riding in one that is causing my horse pain. For better or worse, I did it. I'm coming out of a Kieffer Wien. I will just need to start saving up for something really grand later.

And sadly in my current situation 500 bucks is a splurge for me :( Too many expenses with my mom having back surgery, as well as other things.

CW, I'd get dressage (if it fits your horse), and just borrow (or look into used) CC as you come to the jumps. I rode in A/P for couple years, and for me it was neither good for flat work nor for jumping (but it's my personal opinion of course).

Thanks guys. I went ahead and got the Dressage. It was a brand new with tags...floor model going for 400...it's the older model with only the easy change gullet. My BO has the whole gullet kit so we will play around with it and see if one of them works for Cin. I figure at that price brand new, It may not be hard to get the money back if it doesn't fit him. Plus it's 14 days money back anyway.

Sigh, I'm still waiting for it to ship :( Looks like bareback for another week or so, but that's okay it's good for me!
