Saddle Brands

Ok, I understand you typically get what you pay for. That being said, what are your favorite saddle brands?

I am looking for a round fender (I have an Arab) that is REALLY comfortable in the seat as I have a bad back.

I LOVE the Tucker brand, but my wallet doesn't. Lol

I saw a King Brand Tough-1 Round fendered Endurance saddle that I thought I would like, but I just don't know enough about brands to know what is good and what isn't.

I currently have an old simco I bought at a resale shop in the colorado mountains. I love it, but I need something a bit more comfortable like the tucker I sat in once an about never wanted to leave!

I like the Circle Ys and so do my Arabs! Have you tried a padded seat cover?

I did have a gel seat cover on my simco before I stop riding after my back injury, but not sure where it is at the moment. I am still trying to round up all of my tack after it got "stored" in my husband's garage in multiple places. Also, not sure what I have left after a theft occurred.

I love my simco I can sit in that all day. I suggest finding or investing in a new seat cover.

King series and tough 1 stay away from. Never pay that little for something new.

What is a gaited saddle mean? I know their are "gaited" horses like Walkers, but Im not sure what it means other than a different movement in the horse.

Anything under $500 new is usually always junk. Gaited saddles are shapped differently for the shoulder movement of a gaited horse.

Are you asking about Western or English?
I ride English, and have quite a few favorite saddle brands.. however I currently have a custom saddle on order from Black Country saddlery, and I cannot wait to get it in..!!
